Armani Williams will speak at SXSW-EDU, part of the prestigious South by Southwest festival on March 10th in Austin, Texas. His session, “Shifting Gears: a NASCAR Racer on Autism and Mediamaking,” explores his insights into learning to race, and racing to learn throughout the different twists and turns of his life on and off the track. SXSW will showcase documentary work from the PBSLearningMedia collection American Creed co-produced by Citizen Film and the National Writing Project. This collaboration with PBS station KQED provides a national platform for Armani to inspire students to express themselves, as he does, through mediamaking. Team Armani is proud to partner with these great organizations to illuminate a path forward for every unique learner to show what they are truly capable of creating.
